Doris Lynn Williams

Mrs. Doris Lynn Williams, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Williams; sons, Gary Williams and Steve Williams; parents, Homer and Julia Lynn; sisters, Dora Martin Rogers, Bernice Cantrell and Louise Tankersley; and brother, Snook Lynn.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Williams Kirk, Buford, GA; daughters-in-law, Barbara Williams, Cumming, GA and Sheila Bradford Williams, Cannon, GA; grandchildren, Michael and Laurie Williams, Comer, GA, Joey and Christa Williams, Cannon, GA and Lee and Tiffany Williams, Cannon, GA; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Williams was born June 29, 1924 in Flowery Branch, GA. She received her education from Harmony School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Suwanee Good Timers. She was the oldest member of Liberty Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Sexton officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
