Lewis J. "L. J." Perry

Lewis J. "L. J." Perry, 57, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday November 4, 2012 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Born February 18, 1955, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mr. Perry formerly worked as a carpenter and was a U. S. Marine Corp veteran of Viet Nam. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Perry, and brothers, Russell Perry, Roy Lee Perry, and Leon Perry.

Surviving are his son, Marty Perry, Jasper; mother, Lorene Perry, Dawsonville; sister, Sue Howard, Jasper; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hubert Tinsley will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until the service hour.
