Peter Paul Diaz

Mr. Peter Paul Diaz, age 88, of Cumming passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.

Mr. Diaz was born January 25th, 1924, in San Diego, California. He lived in San Diego all of his life until 8 years ago when he moved to Cumming, GA to live with his youngest son, Gilbert Diaz and daughter in-law, Christine Diaz. He was a US Army veteran, having served in World War II in the South Pacific. After moving to Cumming, he faithfully attended Saint Brendan's Catholic Church in Cumming.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Manual Diaz, Author Diaz and a sister Connie Fassett. He is also survived by his 3 sons, Daniel Diaz of San Diego, CA; Julian Diaz of Temecula, CA and Gilbert Diaz of Cumming, GA. He was also the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 7th from 6 to 8 pm, at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Mr. Diaz will be flown back home to San Diego for a funeral Service at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Santee, CA. on November 17th, with military honors.
