Bobby Ray Davis, age 64 of Sugar Hill, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, and became a member of God's eternal family. He is survived by his son, Bobby Davis, Jr. and his wife, Wendy Davis, Jefferson, GA; grandchildren, Cassidy and Taylor Davis, Jefferson, GA; father and mother, Jimmy and Edna Davis, Sugar Hill, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Sue Davis, Buford, GA; Tommy and Lynne Davis, Dacula, GA; Marty and Joy Davis, Buford, GA; Larry and Annette Davis, Toccoa, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Ricky Marshall, Buford, GA; and brother, Terry Davis, Sugar Hill, GA; eight aunts, five nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins.
Bobby loved people and was a very generous kind-hearted person. He attended Duluth High School and was a skilled woodworker and cabinet maker. He devoted the majority of his employment career in several cabinet manufacturing businesses in the Buford, Sugar Hill and Duluth areas. He was known for making beautiful cabinets and furniture. Bobby retired from Goodwill Industries of Buford. He attended West Buford Baptist Church in Buford, GA. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The Homecoming Service celebrating the life of Bobby Davis will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at 11:00 am at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Gilliland officiating. Internment will follow in the Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
