Michael "Pop-Pop" Tedesco

Michael "Pop-Pop" Tedesco, 90, a devoted husband, an honorable father and an inspirational grandfather, lost his battle with cancer on Wed. Oct. 24, 2012.

He was born in Astoria, NY into a farming family. He was the mechanic on the "Tedesco Brothers Farm" maintaining the equipment. He moved his family from Staten Island, NY to Florida in 1959, where he worked as a mechanic in the Concrete Industry. He later retired from the Palm Beach County Water Department. He and his wife relocated to Buford, GA in 2011. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Margaret D'Alesio Tedesco, 2 children, Michael (Becky) Tedesco and Nancy (Robert) Conklin Jr., 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Florence Cerasoli of NJ.
