Harlard Donald Galloway,

Funeral services for Mr. Harlard Donald Galloway, age 73, of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from Shirley Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Ledford and Rev. Bill Gravely will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mr. Galloway died Tuesday, October 23, 2012.

Born in Habersham County on May 1, 1939, Mr. Galloway was the son of the late Harlard and Ola Shirley Galloway. He owned and operated a nursery and green houses. Mr. Galloway was a United States Army Veteran and was a member of Shirley Grove Baptist Church where he served as pianist. In addition to his parents, Mr. Galloway is preceded in death by his brother Nevitt Galloway and his sister Shirley Jean Jamison.

Survivors include his wife Lois "Pat" Harrison Galloway of Clarkesville, daughter and son-in-law Terenpa and Dwain Cleveland of Jasper, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Keith and Betty Galloway of Oxford, North Carolina; sister Kathleen Loudermilk of Villa Rica, Georgia; and granddaughter Kelly Cleveland of Alpharetta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
