Ruby Cofer Buice

Mrs. Ruby Cofer Buice, age 91, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Henry Cofer and Cavard Buice; and son, James Wayne Cofer. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Cofer Couch and husband, Lawrence, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Wendy Cofer Gunter, and husband, Pat, Winder, GA, Cindy Cofer Jones and husband, Ricky, Winder, GA, Gilmer W. Thomas III and wife, Stephanie, Mt. Pleasant, SC and Jamie Thomas Underwood and husband, Will, Mt. Pleasant, SC; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lucille Holland, Lawrenceville, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Buice was born September 15, 1921 in Suwanee, GA. She received her education from the Suwanee School System. She was a retired sales clerk from Cofer Brothers Dept. Store in Tucker, GA for over forty years. She was a member of Tucker Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Maitland La Force officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
