Aaron Leon Appling

Mr. Aaron Leon Appling age 89 of Commerce died Monday, October 22, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Appling was born in Alpharetta to the late, Lonnie R. and Bertie Lee Bruce Appling.

Mr. Appling was retired from Appling Auto Parts and was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Appling was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Allen Appling; and a son, Michael Samuel Appling.

Mr. Appling is survived by his daughter, Cathi Arostegui of Commerce; sons, Rev. Jeff Appling of Homer and Don Appling of Buford; sister, Doris Davis of Winder; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 2:00 PM from Grove Level Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Appling and Rev. Jeff Hill officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12-2 PM.
