Cyndi Beckworth

Mrs. Cyndi Beckworth, age 64, of Dahlonega, GA, died Friday, October 19, 2012, at Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega.

Mrs. Beckworth was an Opelika, Alabama native who had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 22 years. She was a former resident of Gulf Breeze, Florida. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Cyndi was the daughter of the late John Peyton Starr and Katherine Langley Starr.

She is survived by her husband, Hoyt Lee Beckworth, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Hoyt Ashley and Jennifer Beckworth, Orange Beach, AL and John Peyton and Kendra Beckworth, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Phillip Starr, San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Alexander and Sammie Beckworth; and a number of other relatives also survive.

A memorial service for Cyndi is scheduled for 7 PM Monday, October 22, 2012, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Ray Prince will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Monday from 6 PM until 7 PM.
