Henry Ford Coffey

Henry Ford Coffey, age 82 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at his residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow at 2:00 pm in Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Georgia. Reverend Robbie Ledford and Reverend Johnny Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Coffey was born June 9, 1930 in Tallapoosa, Georgia to the late John Thomas Coffey and Viney Speights Coffey. He was retired from Atlanta Gas Equipment and was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Mr. Coffey is survived by his wife of 62 years, Katie Ferguson Coffey of Cleveland, daughter, Elisha Smith of Gainesville, daughter & son-in-law, Pamela & James Sutton of Arab, Alabama, son, Stanley Coffey of Gainesville, sons & daughters-in-law, Phillip & Benita Coffey of Jackson, Georgia and Carl & Debbie Coffey of Savannah, Georgia, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and brother & sister-in-law, Billy & Roxie Coffey of Fairburn, Georgia.
