Ollie Wilson

Ollie Wilson, 96, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday October 17, 2012 following a period of declining health.

Born February 23, 1916 in Lumpkin County to the late William Henry and Dora Ingram, she lived most of her life in Dawson and Forsyth Counties. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie Wilson; daughter, Sue Thurmond; sons, Billy Wilson, George Wilson, Jimmy Wilson; sister, Gertie Summerour; and brothers, Martin Ingram and Van Ingram.

Surviving are her daughter, Bernice Burt, Foley, AL; sons, Charlie "Chuck" Wilson, Gainesville, Roy "Roe" Wilson, Cuthbert, GA; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday October 21, 2012 at 11 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J. B. Sims will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 2 until 8 and Saturday from 1 until 8 at the funeral home.
