Winifred Gulley Chandler

Mrs. Winifred Gulley Chandler, age 95, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Senic View Nursing Home. Mrs. Chandler was born in Franklin County to the late Lon C. and Mollie Crump Gulley. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and was retired as a day care owner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Elbie Johnson Chandler; brothers, Asbury Gulley, Ed Gulley, Fred Gulley and Swayne Gulley; and sister, Ruby Poole.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her son, Billy Chandler of Commerce; sisters, Frances Brown of Greenville, SC and Geneva Standridge of Commerce; granddaughter, Lynn Crocker of Gainesville; and two great-granddaughters, Kennedy Crocker and Katherine Crocker both of Gainesville.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Thursday, October 18 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 5 to 8 PM.
