Calvin Vinson Ogletree

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Calvin Vinson Ogletree, 80, of Athens, Ga., who passed away Tuesday October 16, 2012.

Mr. Ogletree was born in Jackson County, Ga., a son of the late Venson "Ben" and Ada Motes Ogletree. Mr. Ogletree was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Ogletree retired from Westinghouse/ABB as an inspector with many years of service. Mr. Ogletree was preceded in death by his brother, Benny Ogletree and step-brother, Ricky Ogletree.

Memorial services will be Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 5:00PM at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Miles officiating with Military providing honors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. Until 5:00 P.M.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Morgan Ogletree, Athens, Ga., Daughters, Jill Coulter, Stateboro, Ga., Brenda Elrod, Dahlonega, Ga., Emma Williams, Athens, Ga., Son, Dwayne Ogletree, Gainesville, Ga., Sisters, Emma Mae Webb, Gainesville, Ga., Helen Payne, Jefferson, Ga., Brother Joe Ogletree, Jefferson, Ga., Step Sister, Debra Waters, Commerce, Ga., Step Brother, Ronnie Ogletree, Danielsville, Ga., 9 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
