Charles Edward Pruitt

Mr. Charles Edward Pruitt, age 82, of Commerce, GA died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pruitt was born in Banks County, GA to the late Lon and Della Carlan Pruitt. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a car salesman at James Short Ford.

Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife, Sue Butler Pruitt of Commerce; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Tracy Vitug of Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mike Cleveland and Jocelyn and Bart Walker all of Commerce; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 16 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Donal Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 5 to 8 PM.
