Mr. Roy Cline Watson, age 78, of Hoschton, GA and formerly of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kate Lee Smith Watson; son, Tommy Watson; son-in-law, Mickey Thompson; and great granddaughter, Katie Mosley. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Michelle Watson, Hoschton, GA; daughter, Debra Watson; step children, Buddy and Myrtle Johnson, Hoschton, GA and Diane Johnson Thompson, Pendergrass, GA; daughter-in-law, Alice Watson, Buford, GA; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
Mr. Watson was born January 9, 1934 in Toccoa, GA. He attended Mercer University. He was retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, GA after thirty years of service and a member of the U. A. W. Local 10. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sugar Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Pirkle officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA.
