Ralph Lovell

Ralph Lovell, age 81, of Dahlonega, GA, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at his home.

Ralph was a Union County, GA native who had lived in Lumpkin County since 1970. He was a former Gainesville resident. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

He was the son of the late Robert and Pearl Stephens Lovell and was also preceded in death by his wife, Lila Mae Lovell; brother, Junior Lovell; sister, Goldie Lovell; and grandson, Matthew Pruitt.

Ralph is survived by sons and daughters in law, Jeffrey and Misty Lovell, Jerrold Lovell and Tammy Lovell, all of Dahlonega, GA; daughters and son in law, Tonya Young and Allen Passmore, Clermont, GA, Gail Lovell, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Randall Lovell, Tennessee; sisters, Sarah Ethel Moore, Lucille Bridges, Allene and Bruce Patterson, Bernice Anderson, and Bobbie Jones, all of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, James Lovell, Tyler Lovell, Tiffany Young, Michaela Passmore, Mary Olivia Passmore, Angel Green, Timmy Davis, and Jeremy Roberts. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ralph are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Carl Helton will officiate.

Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Thursday from 6 PM until 9 PM, all day Friday, and again on Saturday until the time of the service.
