Dorothy Browning

Mrs. Dorothy T. Browning, 96 of Gainesville died Wednesday October 10, 2012 at her residence.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Browning had been a resident of Lanier Village Estates for the past 9 years. and she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Browning is preceded in death by her husband, COL Philip Yeager Browning, retired and a grandson, Philip Hicks.

Survivors include her children; Philip Browning, Jr., Elizabeth LaCosta, Judith Andrle, Mary Hicks, Robert Browning, John Browning and Susan Resler. 28 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday October 13, 2012 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Don Nadeau will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday October 13, 2012 from noon until 1:00 p.m.
