Doris Jones Nelson

Doris Jones Nelson, age 75, of Dahlonega, GA died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at UPAC of Lanier.

Mrs. Jones was born September 2, 1937 in Asheville, NC to Floyd and Mattie Kay Dyer Jones.

Doris had lived in Lumpkin County for the past twenty years. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Nelson; her parents; and brother, Jack Jones.

Doris is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, James Rice, Dahlonega, GA, Richard and Rachel Rice, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Judy Jones, Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Nathan Rice, Jeffery Curvin, Heather Curvin, and Bradley Curvin. A number of other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Nelson was cremated. No service is planned.
