Gary Wayne Davis, age 41, of Dahlonega, GA, died Monday, October 8, 2012, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta following an extended illness.
Gary was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was a stone mason and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mac Davis; and an infant brother, Timothy Davis.
Gary is survived by his wife, Callie Davis, Dahlonega, GA; son, Tyler Davis; mother, Kathy Davis, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Curtis Crumley, Dahlonega, GA. Numerous other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Gary are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.
Rev. Allen Passmore will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday from 3 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday until the time of the service.
