Violet Farmer

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Miss Violet Farmer, age 81 of Cleveland. Miss Farmer passed away Sunday, October 6, 2012.

Funeral services are sceduled for 11:00am, Monday, October 8, 2012 from Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev.Clarence Reynolds and Jimmy Abernathy officiating, interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Miss Farmer was born in Banks County on June 27, 1931 to the late Grady Farmer and Ruth Jones Farmer. She was a homemaker and former member of Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include her sister, Wilma Farmer, Cleveland; sister and brother in law, Louise and James Edge of Flowery Branch; brother and sister in law, Vernon and Helen Farmer, Cleveland, her dearest and best friend, Joyce Henderson, nieces and nephews, Rita Farmer, Donna and Donnie Loggins, Peggy and Jimmy Abernathy, Joletta and Gary Zabon,Ricky Farmer , Billy and Martha Edge.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm
