Mary Lou Deweese

Mrs. Mary Lou Deweese, 77 of Gainesville died Wednesday October 3, 2012 after a period of declining health.

Born November 17, 1934 in Dawsonville, Georgia, Mrs. Deweese had lived in Gainesville for most of her life, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Carrie Bruce Fouts. She was a Care Giver and housewife. Mrs. Deweese was of the Baptist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gomer E. Deweese (retired navy veteran), brothers, J.D. Fouts and K.C. Fouts.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law; Shirley and Ping Tyner, Savannah; brother and sister-in-law; Brent and Donna Stamey, Dawsonville; Special caregivers and niece, Carrie and Todd Summerouer, Hartwell; nieces and husbands, Patty and Michael Rogers, Pam and Michael Hayman, all of Savannah.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday October 5, 2012 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Ken Barrett will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday October 5, 2012 at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
