Betty C. Wright

Betty C. Wright, 83, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday October 2, 2012 at Chestatee Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born October 7, 1928 to the late Welmer and Zola Cofield, she had been a resident of Dawsonville since 2004. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Wright retired from the Cobb County School System with over 20 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville and was also preceded in death by a beloved brother, Millard Pope.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, J.R. Wright, Dawsonville; Daughter and Son In Law, Deborah and Glen Miller, Cumming; Sons and Daughters In Law, Stephen and Renee Wright, Dawsonville, David and Ann Wright, Florida; Grandchildren, Teresa and John Tinsley, Jessica Wright, Joshua Wright, Glen Jr. and Teresa Miller, Ed and Melissa Miller; Great Grandchildren, Devin Herron, Sunshine Wright, Bryce Miller; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held Thursday October 4, 2012 at 12 noon at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens, Mableton, GA. Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
