Nettie Mae Epps McCarty

Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel in Danielsville, announces the death of Nettie Mae Epps McCarty, 78, of Comer who passed away at her residence on Friday.

Mrs. McCarty was the daughter of the late Willard and Jessie Simmons Epps and was married to Alton McCarty of the residence. Other survivors include a son, Mark McCarty of Comer, a daughter, Diane Powell of Bowman, a brother, J.W. Epps of Sanford, a sister, Betty Jo Fowler of Hull; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mrs. McCarty was cremated and a memorial service will be Tuesday at 11 AM from the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery.
