Vivian Howington

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Vivian Trammell Howington, 81, of Jefferson, Ga. passed away Sunday Sept. 30, 2012.

Mrs. Howington was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late Floyd and Mattie Dowdy Trammell. Mrs. Howington was retired from the Poultry business, worked as a seamstress for Wilkins Industries and was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church. Her husband, Alphus "Buddy" Howington and son, Curtis Howington, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Wilford (Kay) Howington, Diane (Felix) Austin, Rickey (Mac) Howington, Sandra (Vic) Beck all of Jefferson, Brenda Argo, Baton Rouge,Louisiana, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral home with Rev. Jerry Smith, Rev. Dennis Kesler and Rev. Mike McLemore officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with her Grandsons honored as pallbearers. The visitation will held on Monday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
