Verna Truelove Rogers

Verna Truelove Rogers, age 51, of Dahlonega, GA, died Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Verna was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Verna was the daughter of the late Vernon Truelove and Virginia Turley Truelove and was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Syme.

She is survived by her son, Chris Rogers, Dahlonega, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and George Marlow, Dahlonega, GA, Melissa and Daniel Wayne, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bobby Edmondson, Dahlonega, GA. 11 grandchildren and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Saturday from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday until the time of service.
