Gloria B. Sorrells

Gloria B. Sorrells age 60 of Murrayville passed away on Thursday September 27, 2012 at her daughter's residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday September 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with a private interment to follow the service. Reverend Keith and Amy Reems will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Friday September 28, 2012 from 2:00-4:00p.m.6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sorrells was born on July 26, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Norman Augustus Bell and Nannie Kate Bell Southers. Gloria was a member of Grace and Mercy Ministries and was retired from Lucent Technology.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Keith Reems of Lula, son, Steven Savage of Lula, daughter and son-in-law, Kecia and Chas Edmondson of Hoschton, son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Leverett Sorrells, Jr. (Chip) and Nikki Sorrells of Sandy Springs, grandchildren, Katelyn and J'Isaac Reems of Lula, and Alexis and Aaron Edmondson of Hoschton.
