Mary Frances Farr Plunkett

Mary Frances Farr Plunkett passed away on September 21, 2012 at the age of 97.

She was born in Asheville, NC and moved to Atlanta to attend Agnes Scott College. After graduating she went on to obtain Masters Degrees from West Georgia College and Georgia State College. She spent 25 years teaching in the Fulton County and Rockdale County school systems.

Mrs. Plunkett was preceded in death by her husband, L. Carl Plunkett, Sr. and a daughter, Sue Plunkett Jones. Surviving are her son, L. Carl Plunkett, Jr. of Atlanta, a daughter, Sandra Plunkett Williams, of Dawsonville, GA, a sister, Elizabeth Farr McNairy, of Glensfalls, NY, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
