Dennis Gordon Pennington

Dennis Gordon Pennington, 64, was a proud Marine Veteran, a professional singer, and loving father and husband.

He was born February 17th, 1948 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Dennis married Heather Liddell on September 27th, 1997. He lost his courageous battle against cancer on September 19, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Heather and their daughter Jordan, as well as daughters Erica Ferreira and Amber Modesto, both of Deland, FL and Granddaughters Skyler Fisher and Marley Modesto; His mother Mary, His brother Doug and Sister in law Sandy, Sisters Mary Oliver and Drinda Pennington as well as many nieces and nephews.


Friends and family are invited to gather for a "Celebration of Life" to honor Dennis on Sunday, September 23 at 12 noon at Altobelli's Restaurant 3000 Old Alabama Rd in Alpharetta, GA where his smooth baritone voice and his special attention to patrons built a loyal following. Following will be a graveside military internment of his ashes at 3:00 PM at Milton Fields, Milton, Ga.
