Grover Jackson "Jackie" Whitfield

Mr. Grover Jackson "Jackie" Whitfield, age 58 of Commerce died Friday, September 14, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Whitfield was born in Commerce to Marian Dunson Whitfield of Commerce and the late, Grover C. Whitfield Jr. Mr. Whitfield was a retired banker, member of Maysville Baptist Church, Commerce Kiwanis, Commerce DDA, BJC Medical Center Board Member, and a former member of Commerce Lions Club.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Whitfield is survived by his wife, Ann Adams Whitfield of Commerce; daughter, Kelli Whitfield Hawks of Commerce; brother, Keith Whitfield of Commerce; grandchildren, Jocelyn and Claire Hawks of Commerce.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 PM from Maysville Baptist Church with Dr. Brian Stowe and Rev. David Sharpton officiating with the interment following at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 4-7 PM.
