Homer L. Kidd

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. Monday September 17, 2012 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Homer L. Kidd age 81 of Gainesville.

The Rev. Caury Barnett and Rev. Joel Trigg will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kidd passed away Friday September 14, 2012 following an extended illness.



Mr. Kidd was born in Hall County to the late Wade Hamilton Kidd and Emer Collins Kidd. He Retired from the New Holland Mill and was a member of East View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Children Frances Rinehart and Roy Roger Kidd, Sister, Inez Voyles and Brother James Kidd.



Survivors include his Wife, Ernestine Kidd, Gainesville, Son, Homer Lee Kidd Jr., Murrayville, Son and Daughter-in-Law, James Robert and Mary Kidd, Gainesville, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Angela and Jerry Thomason, Gainesville, Brother, Norman Kidd, Gainesville, 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
