Mr. Wiley Hutto, Jr., age 69, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Betty Jean Collins Hutto, Buford, GA; daughters and sons in law, Carla and Phillip Heard, Suwanee, GA and Holly and Michael Reed, Sugar Hill, GA; son, Todd Hutto, Buford, GA; four grandchildren, Tiffany Hale, Douglas Hale, Caroline Hale and Chase Reed; one great-grandchild, Brooklyn Hale; sisters and brother in law, Patricia Shepherd, Bainbridge, GA and Ann and Marlow Purvis, Albany, GA; uncle and aunt, Ennis and Evelyn Brock, Bainbridge, GA; mother in law, Mable Collins, Sugar Hill, GA; and several nephews and cousins.
Mr. Hutto was born September 30, 1942 in Bainbridge, GA. He was a 1960 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 1963 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA. He was a veteran with the Army Reserve and was employed with Takeuchi Manufacturing as national service manager after twenty-seven years of service. He also worked for Allis-Chalmers and John Deere Corporation. He was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He actively attended Sugar Hill United Methodist Church for the past fifteen years.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Mari Lane Brooks and Rev. Lyndon Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
