Mrs. Juanita Mae (Rogers) Deere, age 80, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 08, 2012 following an extended illness.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 am Friday, September 14, 2012 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The Reverend James Elrod and Dr. Jerry Gill will officiate.
Mrs. Deere was born on April 23, 1932 in Franklin, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Arnold Rogers and Callie (Green) Rogers. Juanita graduated from Franklin High School in 1950. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth L. Deere of Gainesville, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Shiela and Dane Gamble of Cumming, GA Penny and Tim Mroz of Grand Rapids, MI; and Robin and David Cannon of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Dane L., Scott and Lura Beth Gamble; Abby and Kyle Mroz; and Brittany and Blake Cannon.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Lakewood Baptist Church Building Fund 2235 Thompson Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30501.
