William Louis Wilcheck

Mr. William Louis Wilcheck, age 83, of Dahlonega, GA, died Friday, September 7, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Mr. Wilcheck was a native of Columbus, GA who had lived in Lumpkin County since 2005. He was a retired plumber and was a member of Community Chapel Congregational Holiness Church in Lumpkin County. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a member of the Cooper-Green Prayer Group in Dahlonega.

He was the son of the late Sam and Martha Lindsey Wilcheck.

Louis is survived by a brother, Truman Wilcheck, Hamilton, GA; and a sister, Oretha Mason, Dahlonega, GA. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Wilcheck are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, September 9, 2012, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Pierce Ashmore will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors provided by the Veterans Alliance Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Saturday from 5 PM until 9 PM and again on Sunday until the time of the service.
