Robert "Bob" Ford Pinson

Mr. Robert "Bob" Ford Pinson, Jr. age 57, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 05, 2012 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 08, 2012 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Steve Brown, Reverend Tim Barrett and Reverend Michael Clark will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm Friday, September 07, 2012 at the funeral home.

Bob was a lifetime resident of Hall County. He was a 1973 graduate of North Hall High School and attended Gainesville College in Oakwood. In 1985, Bob began his own grading and construction company with several golf architects. After learning from the experts, bob founded Course Crafters, Inc. in 1992. Bob's goal was to be one of the leading renovation companies in the United States, and he accomplished that. Bob served as past president of the GCBAA (Golf Course Builders Association of America). He attended Browns Bridge Community Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Inez (Johnson) Pinson.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Kim (Clark) Pinson of Gainesville; father, Robert F. Pinson, Sr. of Gainesville; son, Mitchell Pinson of Brandon, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Hillary and Justin Hutchinson also of Brandon, Florida; son, Charlie Pinson of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Claudette and Stacy Bragg of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Sandra Pinson of Gainesville; father-in-law, Charlie Clark of Murrayville; mother-in-law and husband, Sondra and Dugar Strickland of Jefferson; brother-in-law and wife, Michael and Denise Clark of Demorest; brother-in-law and wife, Chris and Wendy Clark of Pendergrass; and a number nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
