Mrs. Bonnie McFarlin Oliver, age 94, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, September 05, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Oliver; and son, Dr. Steven J. Oliver. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Ken Ledbetter, Gainesville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Janice Oliver, Homosassa, FL; grandchildren, Andrea Oliver, Christy and Michael Fischlin, Vicki Oliver, Martine and Chad Warzecha, Renee and Lin Kelley, and Hollie and Josh Farr; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Oliver was born April 30, 1918 in Carnesville, GA. She was a graduate of Carnesville High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford and a member of Cotton Clark Sunday School class for many years.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
