Veronica Yesenia Ramirez

Veronica Yesenia Ramirez, age 12 of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Yesi was a 6th grade student at Liberty Middle School where she especially loved to sneak one of her stuffed animals in her backpack and take with her. She loved to draw, her stuffed animals and taking good care of her belongings. Yesi was one of the sweetest and strongest children anyone could ever meet.

Survivors include her parents, Veronica and Jose Ramirez of Cumming; sisters, Jocelyn and Jennifer Ramirez of Cumming; grandparents, Maria and Joaquin Vega of Cumming, Basilia Almaraz of Mexico; god parents, Elsa and Joaquin Vega of Ball Ground; aunts, uncles and cousins; her classmates and teachers at Liberty Middle School and Matt Elementary School and her puppy, Snowball.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 8th at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Fr. Ignacio Morales officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Wake service at 7:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
