Dorothy J. Cox Huggins

Funeral services for Dorothy J. Cox Huggins, age 67, of the Batesville Community, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from the Providence Baptist Church. Dr. Don Drawdy will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Huggins died Saturday, September 2, 2012 at her residence.

Born September 10, 1944, Mrs. Huggins was the daughter of the late George and Ella Mae Marr Cox and she was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huggins is preceded in death by sisters Elaine Langston, Lou Ella Echols, and Suzanne Everett, and brother Tommy Cox.

Survivors include her husband John M. Huggins of the Batesville Community, daughters Tracy Osborn and Tangie Burks, son John Alex Huggins and mother-in-law Naomi Huggins of the Batesville Community.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6-8 PM.
