Joseph Albert Romero

Joseph Albert Romero entered into rest with his Heavenly Father on August 27, 2012. Joseph was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather known for his quick wit and gentle spirit. He enjoyed family dinners, long conversations about news and politics, neighborhood poker games, and above all, taking care of and spending time with his family. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Debra Parker Romero; daughter and son-in-law Tiffany and Robert Grossman; son Richard Albert Romero; son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Sonya Parker; son Eric Parker; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Buffy Parker; sisters and brothers-in-law Julia and Paul Greenway, Catherine and Patrick O'Reilley; Carlota and Paul Klimas; the grandchildren he adored, Riley Romero, Amelia Grossman, Sarah Parker, Jack Parker, and Jason Parker; and his many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on August 30, 2012 at 1pm in the chapel at Hamilton Mill Funeral Home in Buford, GA. The burial and graveside service will follow at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.
