Willie Mae WIlbanks

Mrs. Willie Mae Wilbanks, age 54, of Dahlonega, died Aug. 28 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Wilbanks was born in Cobb County, July 28, 1958. She had lived in Lumpkin County for the past seven years and was a former resident of Rockmart.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jordan and Lillie Mae Oliver Jordan and was also preceded in death by husbands, Jerry Wilbanks and William Craig; sisters, Nancy Sutton and Martha Sensenbrenner; and brother, David Lee Jordan.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth Craig, Dahlonega, and Andy Craig, Buford; daughter and son-in-law, April and Tim Pruitt, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Austin Pruitt, Haley Craig, Kristopher Craig, Brandon Craig, and Jason Pruitt; brothers, James Jordan, Cartersville, William Jordan, Cumming, Bobby Jordan, Dallas, Wayne Jordan, Adairsville, Ronnie Jordan, Daniel Jordan, and Darrell Jordan, all of Rockmart; sisters, Beatrice Martin, Acworth, Vickie Turner, Maryville, Tenn., and Velvet Strode, of Iowa. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilbanks are scheduled for noon Aug. 30 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on from 5-9 Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
