Janice Elizabeth Nelms

Janice Elizabeth Nelms, age 66 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Nelms was born in White County the daughter of the late Esco and Virginia Caudell Cantrell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cantrell. Mrs. Nelms was a homemaker and member of Mt. View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Duel Nelms, Cleveland; daughters and sons in law, Patty and Doug Workman, Carrie and Benjamin Wilson; sons and daughters in law, Robert and Debbie Nelms, Michael and Angie Nelms, all of Cleveland; sisters, Edna Fortner, Judy Fortner, Rosie Watson, Teleta Pritchett; brothers, Bobby Cantrell, Julian Cantrell, Ben Cantrell, Mitchell Cantrell, Roger Cantrell; grandchildren, Brandon Nelms, Bradley Nelms, Tristen Nelms, Caden Nelms, Colten Workman, Devyn Workman, Hannah Wilson, Megan Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Joel Nelms, Samuel Nelms.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday August 26, 2012 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner, the Rev. George Fortner and the Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
