David Philip Graves

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. David Philip Graves, age 66, of Hoschton, who passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012. Mr. Graves was born in Charleston, SC, a son to the late Hazel and Mary Dorothy Cox Graves. Mr. Graves was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Graves was also a fisherman and oysterman in Apalachicola, FL.

Survivors include his sisters, Sandra Jane Collins, Tucson, AZ, and Sally Adamson, Hoschton, brother, Jackson C. Graves, Hoschton.

A funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 1PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. David Ash and Rev. Rusty Newman officiating. The burial will follow at 3PM in the Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Loganville. The visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8Pm at the funeral home.
