Jimmy Ray Cooke

Mr. Jimmy Ray Cooke, age 74 of Nicholson died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Cooke was born in Nicholson to the late, William A. and Effie Lowe Cooke. He was a retired poultry plant manager and was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle.

Mr. Cooke is survived by his wife, Jean Hunt Cooke of Nicholson; son, Stanley R. Cooke of Nicholson; daughter, Starliah Jean Waldrup of Nicholson; three grandchildren, Shann Cooke, Tori and Kinley Waldrup; one great grandson, Cody Cooke.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 21 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Hunter officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6-8 PM.
