Kathy Brooks Yearwood

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Kathy Brooks Yearwood, age 33, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.

Mrs. Yearwood was born in Commerce, GA, a daughter to Mike and Mary Frances Murphy Brooks of Pendergrass. Mrs. Yearwood was a member of the Demorest Baptist Church, graduated from Gainesville College and worked at the Northeast GA Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Yearwood, sons, Alex Michael Yearwood, Ryan Matthew Yearwood all of Jefferson, parents, Mike and Mary Frances Murphy Brooks, Pendergrass, sister, Brandi Michelle Brooks, Pendergrass, mother and father in law, Vickie and Howard Yearwood, Demorest, grandfather, Jewell Melvin Murphy, Pendergrass, grandmother and grandfather in law, Jean and Garnett Yearwood, Demorest.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Mewborn officiating. The burial will follow in the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
