Juanita Baker Bowles

Mrs. Juanita Baker Bowles, age 51 of Commerce died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Bowles was born in Commerce to the late, Carl and Pauline Leachman Baker. Mrs. Bowles was a medical assistant. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowles was preceded in death by her daughter, Mellissa Faye Bowles, sister, Mary Helen Baker, and brothers, Ted and J.C. Baker.

Mrs. Bowles is survived by her husband, John Wesley Bowles of Commerce; daughters, Amelia Marie Skinner of Athens and Mary Elizabeth Martinez (Fran) of Winder; brothers, Ronnie and William Douglas Baker both of Commerce; sister, Judy Anne Baker Segrest of Nicholson; grandchildren, Hailey Peyton Skinner and Lindsey Addison Marie Skinner both of Commerce and Anthony Zane Martinez and Reasa Mae Elett Martinez both of Winder.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 PM from Mrs. Bowles' residence with Rev. Philadelphia Henry and Rev. Shannon West officiating with the interment following at Nicholson Cemetery. Mrs. Bowles' body will be at her residence after 4:00 on Thursday.
