Carolyn Moon Burnette

Carolyn Moon Burnette, age 76, of Cumming, formerly of Marietta, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 following a brief illness.

She retired from Lockheed Martin Aircraft after 18 years of service. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn Mansell Moon.



Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Ray Burnette; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Anita Burnette; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Kevin Mitchell; grandsons, Johnathon Burnette, Kevin Mitchell, Jr.; sister, Judi Power Wilson and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Reuben Smith and Rodney Reese officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 3to 9, and Wednesday, from noon until the hour of service.
