Mrs. Bonnie M. Stowe, 90 of Gainesville died Saturday August 4, 2012.
Born in Nicholson, Georgia, Mrs. Stowe was the daughter of the late Elijah Arthur and Rebecca Angeline Williams Canup. She was a life long resident of Georgia and was a homemaker. Mrs. Stowe was a member of Christ Cathedral Church in Douglasville, Ga., and had been a resident of Autumn Breeze Assisted Living in Gainesville for the past 8 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Young at Hearts Club, longtime member, Christian Travel Club where she had served as president.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Ron and Carol Stowe, Dahlonega; Larry and Paige Stowe, Ridgeland, MS; grandson and wife, Jeff and Jennifer Stowe, Gainesville; granddaughters and husbands, Wendy and Randy Zupa, Nashville, TN; Kim and Walker Gibson, Brandon, MS; step granddaughters and husbands, Laura and Charles Barbour, Jackson, MS; Stacy and Tony Eisenhower, Madison, MS; sister, Ann Winsted, Marietta; 13 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stowe is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joe J. Stowe; granddaughter, Donna Lynne Stowe and daughter-in-law; Judy Chadwick Stowe.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday August 7, 2012 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Johnson and Rev. Rick Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in the Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Ga. at 3:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday August 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
