Virginia Hulsey Smallwood

Virginia Hulsey Smallwood, 76, of Gainesville passed away Aug. 3. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, N.A. Smallwood and her two sons Ricky and Terry Daughtery. She loved gardening and loved to be with her family and her grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Becky Fortner; grandchildren, Chris Daughtery, Amy Roub (Brandon Smith), Travis (Angel) Roub, Jimmy (Jessica) Fortner.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 6 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Boyd and Rev. Eugene Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on 1-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Aug. 5 and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Aug. 6.
