Kent Adam Lewis, 40, left this earth for Heaven on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Kent was deeply loved by his wife of 15 years, Jennifer Whittaker Lewis, and his two "daddy's girls", Kenlee Faythe Lewis and Chloee Ruth Nicole Lewis. He also was loved by his precious mom Becky Lewis of Gainesville. He was greatly loved by his twin brother, Brent Lewis, and his wife Bazlyn Lewis, of Las Vegas, Nevada; as well as his older brother Gary and his wife Krissy, and his nephew and niece, Graham and Harper Lewis, all of McDonough, GA. Kent also leaves behind a "family-in-love" in Jerry and Frances Whittaker and Ron Whittaker, all of Knoxville, Tennessee. He married into their family but was as much a part of their family as his own. Kent was preceded in death by his father, Edward Eugene Lewis, and they are rejoicing together today.
Kent had a host of close friends in many places. His friends from the Baptist Student Union at the University of Tennessee continued to have a special place in his heart and his life, and he had made many friends from the places he had served. He will be remembered for his servant's heart and his ability to make you laugh in nearly any situation.
Kent loved to laugh, loved his family, loved his Tennessee Volunteers, and loved serving the Lord. He spent many years serving different churches in various capacities, all of which held a special place in his heart. His first church in Deland, Florida, he still considered his family. He most recently served the Lord through Crown Financial Ministries, believing in sharing God's principals for every area of our lives, especially our finances. He especially loved the people he worked with through Crown, both in his home office and across the country.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 4-7pm at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at 3:00pm at Lakewood Baptist Church, 2235 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30501. Dr. Tom Smiley, Dr. Jerry Gill and Dr. Gary Lewis will officiate. Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Gainesville, GA.
