Mrs. Lorraine J. Slusher, 95 of Gainesville died Monday July 30, 2012 at Bell-Minor Nursing Home.
Born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, Mrs. Slusher had lived in Hall County for the past 2 years. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Qualls and Roxie Brown Pepper. Mrs. Slusher was a homemaker and a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Betty L. Combs, Gainesville; Carolyn and Donald Angel, Gainesville; Elizabeth and Tom LeMasters, Ft. Myers, Florida; Linda and Terry Wells, Jacksonville, Fla., son, Roger Tapscott, Katy, Texas; sister, Jackie McGraw, Chattanooga, Tennessee. 16 Grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Slusher is preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Foltz and Barbara Rogers.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 2, 2012 at the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Phil Clark will officiate.
