Margaret Coffee Smith

Mrs. Margaret Coffee Smith age 93 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Monday July 30, 2012 at Autumn Breeze Assisted Living Home following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday August 02, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Daryl Dale will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 01, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Mrs. Smith was born on July 19, 1919 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late John M. Coffee and Louisa Lord Coffee. Mrs. Smith was a member of Springway Baptist Church and was a retired Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Husband, George A. "Ike" Smith.


Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy S. and Carl D. Brown of Lead Hill, Arkansas, daughter and son-in-law, Mary S. and Ronald W. McGriff of Flowery Branch, son and daughter-in-law, William S.Smith Sr. and Deloris Smith of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, George J. Smith and Kathy Smith of Georgetown, TN, 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, sister, Louise Coffee Chapman of Gainesville, Barbara Coffee Canup of Gainesville.
